Loan application fraud
Who is borrowing, and wheredo they live?
A lender's losses start with a borrower who was never who they said, or who cannot be found when the first repayment is missed. Toden verifies the borrower on two government records, shows whether the same face has borrowed under another name, and gives you an address you can actually locate.
The workflow
Two IDs, one face, a real address and a search for the borrower's other identities. This is a starting point: add, remove or reorder any step in the workflow builder.
Step 01
Phone Verification
Proves the phone number with a one-time code
Step 02
Government database validation
Nigeria, BVN record
Step 03

Step 04
3D Active Motion
Head turn or blink prompts
Step 05
Facial Match ×2
Selfie against each record photo
Step 06
Proof of Address
Utility bill or bank statement
Step 07
Address Intelligence
A map pin checked against their records
Step 08
Questionnaire
Income, employer and purpose of the loan
Step 09
Device Intelligence
Flags a phone that has applied before
Step 10
Face Search
Has this face borrowed under another name?
Then your rules decide
A starting rule set
- The same face under a different IDDecline
- A phone or ID you have blockedDecline
- The two records name different peopleReview
- The address is not supported by any recordReview
- Both records agree and the address is corroboratedApprove
Every rule is yours to change on a visual canvas, and each result records which rule decided it. Publishing a new version needs no release.
Try the workflow builderConnection map
When a face, a phone or an address turns up again, the console draws everyone gathered around it and says in plain words what the connection means and how much weight it deserves.
- Needs review2 people with this face verified under a different nameA shared address does not explain a shared face. Compare the photos before deciding.
- For context1 person with this face has the same name and documentThis may be a repeat verification. Check whether more than one account is expected.
- An illustration with invented people. In the console each card opens the customer's record.
How it works
Verify on two records
A BVN and a NIN in one sitting, with one selfie matched to both record photos.
Look for the same person twice
Face search and device signals show a borrower who already holds a loan under another name, or a phone that has applied many times.
Pin the address
A map pin, checked against the address on their records and a utility bill, and optionally confirmed over the following days.
What powers it
A borrower who returns with a new name, a new number or a new ID is matched by their face and their phone, before you disburse.
Integrate
Mount the SDK with the workflow you published, or send a hosted link and write no code. The result arrives by signed webhook, and changing the workflow never needs a release.
